The absolute high for the month tied a record at 56°F on the 22nd, while the absolute low was 4°F on the 11th. Heating degree days (HDD) were about 125 units more than normal for a total of 1084. Season-to-date, the HDD total is 10156, almost 800 more than normal. Snowfall was almost an inch more than normal for April with 5.2 inches and since July 1st, a total of 42.3 inches has occurred at the airport, just 3 inches below normal. Precipitation in liquid water equivalence totaled 1.09 inches for the month, 115% of normal. |
