Located at confluence of Tanana and Yukon Rivers,p 122 AAG. Current coordinates 65° 10' N, 152° 6' W, elevation 232'. Opened 1902 with elevation 242'. Moved 0.1 mile E July 1918, 0.1 mile W and 22' lower June 1922, 0.1 mile ESE 10/20/1923, 0.3 miles N and 6' uphill 3/23/39. Slight elevation changes up another 1' in 1943 and 5' in 1945 associated with station shifts between CAA and USAF; no further horizontal moves noted. Observation time 7 pm (?) 1916-1939; 5 pm 3/23/39-5/11/43; midnight until 4/1/65, 8 pm 4/1/65 present except actual time 7 pm since time zone shift October 1983.
