Arctic Sea Ice Extent 8-15-2019

August 15, 2019: This week the sea ice has decreased by 8.70 % from the level of 5.390 M km2 to 4.921 M km2 for this week. The sea ice loss has slowed just a bit and has now brought the 2019 sea ice extent line (gold) above the all-time low level in 2012 (green line).
