The maximum temperature for the month was recorded on the 30th, at 67°F, while the minimum was observed on the 4th, 14th, and 17th, at a chilly 8°F. The minimum observed on the 14th broke the daily minimum record of 10.0°F set in 1939. Further, on the 17th, the minimum was 1°F colder than the old record of 9°F for that day set in 1953.
